Experimenting with AI to restore Vintage Azerbaijani Cartoons

Tools used: Topaz Video AI.
Result: This is definitely not a one-button solution. The results are interesting to watch at — but I still like the originals more. Note that this upscaling software requires a bit of learning to achieve the best results. Based on quick web searches, as of 2023, the technology is not reliable enough to be used at industrial scales (yet). But it seems to be only a matter of time, till AI-powered video tools improve to sufficient levels.
